What if I reach the live stories limit?

Some plans include a limited number of live, shareable Storydocs. If you reach the limit, you can archive a story or upgrade your plan.

What Counts Toward the Limit?

Only Shared Storydocs count toward your live stories limit. Drafts or archived stories do not affect your quota.

What Happens When You Hit the Limit?

If you try to share a new Storydoc after reaching your limit, you’ll see a message letting you know you’ve hit the cap. You won’t be able to publish the new story unless you free up a slot or upgrade your plan.

How to Free Up a Slot

You have two options:

  1. Archive an Existing Storydoc

    • Go to your dashboard

    • Find a live Storydoc you no longer need

    • Click the three-dot menu and select Archive

  2. Delete Unneeded Storydocs

    • If you no longer need the content at all, you can delete it completely from the same menu

Want More Live Templates?

You can always:

  • Upgrade your plan to increase your live-stories allowance

  • Reach out to our team if you have a question regarding your plan

Tip
If you’re testing multiple versions of the same deck, use personalized links under a single Storydoc instead of creating duplicates. This helps you stay within your limit.
