Option 1: Duplicate from Another Part of Your Storydoc

If a layout block already exists in your story or another one:

  1. Click the three-dot menu next to the element or slide

  2. Select Copy

  3. Paste it wherever you want using the same menu

  4. Edit the content while keeping the layout structure

You can use this method for full slides or for individual layout elements within a slide.

Option 2: Add as a New Slide

  1. Click “+ Add Slide”

  2. Go to the Layouts section

  3. Pick a structure like Timeline, Tabs, Carousel, Narrator, etc.

  4. Use “Add as is” or “Add with AI” to fill the layout automatically based on a prompt

This is ideal when creating new sections using common content patterns.

Option 3: Add via the “Add Element” Menu

If you want to insert a layout block inside an existing slide:

  1. Click “Add Element” within the slide

  2. Choose “Content Block”

  3. Select the layout type you want to insert (Timeline, Tabs, etc.)

This gives you flexibility to combine layout blocks within a single slide.

Tip
Layout blocks are responsive, easy to edit, and work well for things like step-by-step flows, feature highlights, grouped info, and storytelling sequences. Use them to keep your content engaging and clear.
