How to Change the Email Account Owner

Transfer Storydoc account ownership by inviting a new admin, removing the current owner, and updating billing details.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Invite the new account owner

    1. Go to Workspace in your Storydoc account.

    2. Click Invite user.

    3. Enter the new owner’s email address.

    4. Assign them full Admin permissions.

  2. Remove the current owner

    1. In Workspace, locate the current account owner’s profile.

    2. Click Remove seat to free it up for the new owner.

  3. Update the billing email

    • Contact Storydoc Support to confirm the ownership change.

    • Our team will coordinate with Paddle (our billing provider) to update your billing and subscription records to the new email address.
