Storydoc presentations are built as interactive, web-based stories. While you cannot currently export them directly into PowerPoint (PPTX) format, there are ways to download your story for offline use.
Export Your Story as a PDF
With any paid plan, you can export your story as a PDF file:
Open your story in the editor.
Click Share in the top-right corner.
Select PDF Export.
(Optional) Use Advanced Settings to choose between:
Scrolling PDF – keeps the continuous flow of your story.
Print-friendly PDF – splits your story into pages for easy printing.
Your exported PDF will not include interactive elements such as animations or embedded videos, since PDFs are static by nature.
Open the PDF in PowerPoint
If you need your story in PowerPoint format, you can open the exported PDF in PowerPoint. Each page of the PDF will appear as a static slide in PowerPoint and
the content will not be editable.
Keep the Interactive Experience
Even if you export a PDF, your fully interactive story will always remain accessible via its hosted link. This allows you to share your presentation online and preserve its unique features like navigation, multimedia, and personalization.
PowerPoint Export
At this time, exporting directly to PowerPoint (PPTX) is not supported. However, our team is actively exploring this feature for the future.
