Share by Link

  1. Click Share in the editor.

  2. Under Live link, copy the unique URL of your story.

  3. Paste the link into your email, chat, or any other messaging tool.

  4. (Optional) Use Change preview to update the thumbnail and title before sharing.

  5. (Optional) Add a branded subdomain if your plan includes it.

  6. You can also click Test this link to open it without triggering analytics.

Share by Email Preview

  1. Go to the Email tab in the Share menu.

  2. Storydoc generates a ready-made email preview with your story thumbnail and title.

  3. Copy this preview and paste it directly into your email body.

  4. The preview is supported by all major email clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, HubSpot, etc.).

This option makes your email more visual, as recipients will see a clickable card (with thumbnail and link) instead of just plain text.

Share on Social Media or Embed

  1. Open the More tab.

  2. Share your Storydoc directly to LinkedIn, WhatsApp, X.com (Twitter), or Facebook.

  3. To add your Storydoc to your website, select Embed and copy the iframe code.

Create Custom Versions

For more control over access and personalization, create a Custom version of your story:

  1. Go to Custom version > New version.

  2. Add a version name.

  3. Choose from advanced options:

    • Expire date

    • Access control (collect viewer details)

    • Password protection (Team plan only)

    • Downloadable PDF

  4. Click Create version and share the unique link.

Bulk generate with Personalization

On Pro and Team plans, you can personalize at scale:

  1. Upload a CSV file with recipient details.

  2. Storydoc generates personalized links using dynamic variables (e.g., name, company).

  3. Each recipient gets their own customized Storydoc.

Export to PDF

If you need a static version:

  1. In the Share menu, select PDF export.

  2. Choose your main or custom version.

  3. Download as a PDF—perfect for offline sharing or archiving.

    • Note: Interactive features won’t carry over, since PDFs are static.
