Step-by-Step Instructions
Open the Share menu
From your story editor, click Share your story and go to Custom version > Bulk send.
Download the template file
Click Download template to get a pre-formatted CSV file with the required columns (e.g., title, days to expire, name, company).Fill in the details
Open the CSV in Excel or Google Sheets and enter your personalization details under each column. Each row will generate a new version.
Upload the file
Go back to Storydoc, click I already got the file, and upload your completed CSV. You can drag & drop the file into the upload box.
Check the upload
Once uploaded, Storydoc will confirm if everything looks fine. You can also toggle Generate previews for each version (optional but slows down processing).Create the versions
Click Create versions. Storydoc will process your file and generate personalized links for each entry.Access your versions
After processing, you’ll see a success message. Click Go to versions or check your email for a summary with all generated links.
Additional Notes
By default, you can generate up to 500 links per bulk upload. For more, you’ll need to upgrade your plan.
If your CSV file shows as empty, make sure it includes the required headers and values in at least one row.
All links created will behave like regular Storydoc versions, meaning you can track analytics and manage them individually.
