In Storydoc, you can edit and control each element separately—like changing the background color or customizing button design. But the Design Settings ensure that your entire story looks consistent and on-brand. With advanced plans, you can even save design settings and import them into other stories, so your branding stays unified across the board or you can keep multiple brand themes ready to use.

Customize Colors

  1. Open the Design panel from the right toolbar.

  2. Click the Color palettes section to pick a ready-made palette or create your own.

  3. To edit, click the pencil icon:

    • Primary color – main brand color.

    • Secondary color – for contrast.

    • Accent colors – highlights and supporting tones.

    • Background colors – set the look of your slides.

Customize Fonts

  1. In the same Design panel, go to Fonts.

  2. Choose a font from the dropdown list or use Advanced settings to adjust:

    • Title font and size

    • Subtitle font and size

    • Paragraph font and size

  3. Switch between Desktop and Mobile to set styles for each.

  4. Custom fonts are available only on the Team plan.

Style Your Buttons

  1. Scroll to Buttons in the Design panel.

  2. Click Button text to open advanced options.

  3. Edit:

    • Background color (default and hover)

    • Text color (default and hover)

    • Corner radius and shadow for shape

Save Your Design

  1. After customizing, click Save at the bottom of the panel.

  2. Enter a name to store your theme in My Library for reuse across stories.
