Supported image file formats

Storydoc supports the following image file formats for upload:

  • JPG

  • PNG

  • SVG

  • GIF

Maximum image file size

The maximum file size for an uploaded image or logo is 30 MB.

For the best performance, it is recommended to keep image files as lean as possible. Smaller files load faster and help keep your Storydoc smooth and responsive.

Recommended image resolution

Storydoc does not require a strict minimum resolution for standard uploaded images, but higher-quality images will usually look better.

For best results:

  • Use clear, high-resolution images

  • Avoid very small or blurry files

  • Optimize large images before uploading to improve loading speed

For background images, the recommended size is:

  • 1920 Γ— 1080 px

  • 16:9 aspect ratio

This helps background images display well across different screen sizes and layouts.

Tips for better image quality

  • Use PNG for logos, icons, and graphics that need transparency

  • Use JPG for photos when you want a smaller file size

  • Use SVG for logos and simple vector graphics when available, for the sharpest display

  • Keep important visual content centered, especially in background images, since some cropping may happen on different screen sizes
