Storydoc's AI builder lets you create presentations in multiple languages — not just English. By selecting your preferred language before generating your document, the AI will write the entire story — outline, slides, and all content — in that language from the start.

From your Storydoc dashboard, click Create new story in the top right corner. When prompted, choose Start with AI to open the AI builder.

Select the type of document you want to create — for example, a Sales Proposal, Pitch Deck, Report, or any other format. Once you've made your selection, click Continue to proceed to the prompt screen.

On the prompt screen, look at the toolbar at the bottom of the dialog. You'll see a Language selector — it defaults to English. Click on it to open the dropdown and choose the language you want your document to be generated in.

Type your prompt in the text field, describing what you want the document to cover. Once you're ready, click Generate outline. The AI will process your request and create an outline written entirely in the language you selected.

Once the outline is ready, you'll see all the slides listed in your chosen language. Review the structure and make any changes you need — you can reorder, delete, or edit individual slide descriptions before moving on.

When you're happy with the outline, scroll down and click Generate document to build the full presentation.

The AI builder will now generate your full presentation. You'll see a progress screen showing three steps completing in sequence:

As slides are built, you can see a live preview on the right side of the screen — all content appears in your chosen language.

Once generation is complete, the editor opens automatically. Your entire presentation — including all slide titles, body text, and section labels — will be in the language you selected. You can now edit, customize, and share it just like any other Storydoc.
